Master Amadio Bianchi is the European Honorary Secretary of the International Federation of Yoga, International Counsellor of the World Yoga Council and Honorary member of the European Council of Yoga. He lives and works in Milan. Besides Yoga, his areas of interest include Ayurveda and the Philosophy& Culture of India. He has held courses in Italy, Greece, France, Letland, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Croatia and Portugal. He published two philosophical reviews “L’Evoluzione “ and “I Simboli” and hereby came into contact with Asian culture. In Italy, he has been the guest of TV- and Radio-shows such as: TG 2 “Costume e Società”, Rai Uno Mattina, Vivere Meglio Rete 4, "La vita in diretta" Rai 2, "Monitor Popoli" Sat 2000, Tg regionale Rai 3, "Salute e Benessere” Radio Sole 24, Totem RTL 102.5, “Le buone notizie” Mediolanum Channel. The philosophical principles of Ayurveda The basis of every scientific or metaphysical discipline is formed by a particular philosophical and mathematical interpretation of nature and it’s laws. This is also true for Ayurveda, one of the most important traditional medical systems of India. The “pilars” on which this system rests come from Shamkya, an ancient, pre-buddhist, dualist philosophical school. |
