Dr. Marica Spezia - Italy

Marika Spezia, 1955, born and bread in Verbania. Graduated as a teacher. Began work with the ARCI association for social endorsement in the fields of culture, environment, sport, civil rights and solidarity, where she further promotes their “Garden of the sun” food culture circle: to spread knowledge on biological food and food for health and balance .

In 1979, she co-founds the “Arturo Toscanini” music association of its namesake school, promoting musical culture in the province.

For many years, she has been involved in environmental care and was appointed minister for tourism, decentralization and participation of the Verbania Municipality, as well as running the work of Agenda 21 of the Municipality of Verbania.
