Gabriele Mandel Khan - Italy

Painter, writer, psychoanalyst, university teacher, journalist.

Degree courses in Letters, Linguistics, Psychology, Medicine and Surgery.

Specializations in clinical Psychology, Fetal Medicine, History of the Muslim ceramics.

Doctorate in archeological research.

Diploma for violin (harmony with Arrigo Pedrollo) and complement of flute (Gastone Tassinari).

Honoris Causa bachelor's degree in Muslim Sciences from the University of Konya (Turkey).

He studied engraving (1944-47) with Giulio Cisari and then frescos with Augustin Pegrassi. He graduated at the advanced national Academy of Fine Arts in Paris in 1954.(Cami e Goerg).

He perfected engraving with Edouard Viiralt and painting techniques with Friedrich von Rieger. He began with ceramics in Paris in the atelier of Leon Tutndjan together with Salvador Dalì and Armand Nakache.

Author of 142 books published by major Publishing Houses (among which Curly Rizzoli, Mondadori, Franc Maria, Rusconi, Paoline Editions, Sugarco, Longanesi) with numerous co-editions. Journalist and publicist.

Exhibitor at the Biennial exhibition in Venice, the Museum of modern Art in Paris, at the Salons of Paris, the Museum of Lieges ("the great masters of contemporary engraving"), at the Press Cabinet of the national Library in Paris. Some of his original Copperplate engravings are exhibited at the Museum of the Louvre in Paris.

186 personal exhibitions among which: Museum of Tokyo (Zauho Press Foundation); Museum New Delhi (Ravi Kumar Foundation); Civic Library of Milan in the Sormani Palace; Civic Libraries of Sesto San Giovanni, Frank Martina, etc.
