Lama Lhawang - Tibet-China

Lama Lhawang was born in Tibet in 1938. At the age of 12, he took ordination as a monk, went to the Sed Gyued Monastery where he studied and completed his studies. In 1959, following his arrival in India as a refugee, he studied Traditional Tibetan Medicine at the Tibetan Institute of Tibetan Medicines and Astrology in Dharamasala, India.

With much enthusiasm he is tirelessly dedicated to raising the funds for the rebuilding of the Sed Gyued Monastery in Tibet. Since 1995, he lives in Italy and is a guest at the Kunpen Lama Gangchen Institute in Milan, Italy, where he is totally dedicated to helping those in need who come to the institute. He meets many people every day and gives them moral and spiritual support to help them overcome their physical, mental, spiritual and emotional problems.

Lama Lhawang is available for consultations in Tibetan Medicine and reads pulses to check one’s general state of health.
